We inspire and support the wider industry to create experiences that allow everyone to participate equally in the digital world.
Millions of people in the UK are excluded from key digital services. The Inclusive Design Council is being established to drive understanding of the importance of inclusive design, and equip individuals and organisations with the knowledge, skills and desire to design experiences for everyone.
Inclusive design is not only an ethical and business imperative, but an engine for innovative, socially positive ideas. We want to make inclusive design the mainstream, to allow everyone to participate equally in the digital world through experiences that are not only accessible, but truly inclusive.
The Accessible Design council is co-chaired by Matt Roberts, Senior UX designer at Sightsavers, and Becky Ferraro, Design Lead at Deloitte Digital UK.
If you’re interested in joining a BIMA Council you can register your interest below. Every quarter we’ll go through all council and steering group applications, so please bear with us when waiting for a reply.
