Mission Statement

Creating a pipeline of future innovators in all areas of digital to allow for growth in our sector in the years to come by inspiring those who can inspire.

About the council

The UK is facing a widening digital skills gap. A dearth of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills required by the digital economy is putting future growth at risk. The BIMA Young Talent Council is working to redress the balance by creating a pipeline of future innovators in all areas of digital.

Through a series of initiatives including BIMA’s Digital Day, Digital Spark and Digital Sense, we’re working to inspire the next generation; provide practical tips and industry insight about the roles available, and give teachers and parents a greater understanding of digital as a career option.
