Rebecca set up StrawberrySocial after working at a large social media agency for nine years, culminating as Director of Client Operations. She has over 16 years’ experience and has also worked in media, training, theatre, and events. Throughout her career, she has managed moderation/CM projects for clients such as TalkTalk, Just Eat, Sony Mobile, Nokia, HSBC and BBC Worldwide. 

She also has a special interest in charities and the public sector, on Grenfell Gold Response, with Dept. for Education and NHS Digital plus Samaritans, Help for Heroes, NSPCC, Versus Arthritis and Blue Cross. 

StrawberrySocial is a company where experience is the ‘boss’, providing you with the resources and expertise to monitor, moderate and engage your audiences 24/7/365. We also have some cracking expertise in social strategy and training.

Our stellar team is an impressive group – with over 60 total collective years of social media experience. Since the days of Bebo, MySpace and a large number of rather clunky brand forums and CMS’s, our group of talented individuals have been right at the forefront. Building careers in the UK, Europe and the US for agencies, brands, and charities. We are:

  • A collection of industry veterans (and a few youngsters to keep us on our toes).
  • A mix of employees and freelancers – the number changes up and down depending on the time of year, busy periods, etc. We have a ‘stable’ of top talent that have been through our comprehensive ‘test and interview’ process and can be called upon when required. However, the majority of our current team are long-term.
  • NSPCC/CEOP trained in online safety.
  • DBS (enhanced) checked – renewed May 2020.
  • Experienced working (sometimes white label) with digital and advertising agencies. This involves backing up the in-house team with moderation and engagement, sometimes out of hours or throughout the working day too.
  • Experienced and currently working on charity channels and forums with vulnerable users (including young people, the very ill and carers), often dealing with upsetting content and complex escalation workflows (online social platform groups and pages).
  • Experienced in working with Government/public services – we provided social media expertise to the Gold Team during the Grenfell disaster, and we are currently the moderation agency for NHS Digital (including all paid ads around Covid/vaccination).
