Prior to launching Hype Collective, Simon spent ten years working in student marketing for the likes of The National Student and and Campus Media. During his time at The National Student he oversaw both the commercial and the editorial sides of the business. He drove the re-launch of the publication which led to winning the likes of Topshop, STA Travel and Google as clients. He then launched Campus Media’s agency offering, growing it from scratch to a team that now works with the likes of NBC Universal, L’Oreal and Amazon. His role as managing director at Hype Collective involves overseeing client relationships, driving youth strategy and running the university network.
