Webinar: Commissioning Environmentally Friendly Video Campaigns

Posted by High Tide

13 tonnes of Co2 is emitted for every hour of screen based content created, which is the equivalent of driving the circumference of the earth in a small car.

But what does this mean for brands who use video for their marketing? In this webinar we’ll walk through:

– The different campaign types (including those with the most and least environmental impact)
– What makes a campaign harmful to the environment
– What brands and agencies can do to reduce their campaigns’ footprint.
The session will last 25 mins with the remainder of the session for questions. It will take place on Zoom.

High Tide

High Tide is a film production agency that makes branded video content. We put people and the planet first.

High Tide was founded by Alex Porter-Currie & Eathan Currie. As creatives, their goal was to collaborate on impactful campaigns using working practices that benefit both people and the planet. We work with selected film crews of around five to ten people on each shoot; this keeps our carbon footprint low, whilst staying flexible when working on ambitious projects.

We offer sustainbily focused productions which have a much smaller footprint than the average video production in the UK. This is for brands who have sustainability ingrained in their core values, and also with those eager to embark on their journey towards eco-conscious marketing. We do so by reducing the shoot’s footprint at pre-production stage, reporting the impact to the client, followed by offsetting and suggesting learnings for all partners involved.
