Thursday Thoughts x National Trust Brand Storytelling

Posted by Thursday

Join us for Thursday Thoughts on Thursday 30th July at 9.30am with guest speaker Mark Scott, who used his expertise as the National Trust’s Director of Brand and Marketing to evolve and strengthen the brand. He will be sharing with us how brand storytelling shaped that process and the Trust’s success as a relevant modern brand, despite its historic truth…

Brand Storytelling is a bit of a buzzword, but what really does it mean? It is not simply having a brand story on your website. It is approaching your brand with the diligence and imagination of a creative writer, crafting it to capture your customer’s attention as powerfully as a great book or film.

Mark Scott will share with you:
– What Brand Storytelling is and why you should use it
– What it can do for your brand and your business
– How to apply it and measure its success

A design studio that creates clarity. For brands and businesses. From strategy to digital.

Clarity through design. That’s what we’re all about.
We’re a multi-disciplinary agency, with a single-minded focus.
Whether you come to us for brand, digital or graphic design,
everything begins with insight. Crafting a clear strategy
steers the process of design – of channelling creativity
through specialist skills. Thinking as designers from the start
is the superpower that solves problems effectively and inventively,
and is the sure way to bring practical, meaningful change.

To do this, we’ve hand-picked good people who enjoy what they do.
Strategists who live to map and mine all those customer pain points
and opportunities. Graphic designers with a gift for minimalism,
perfectionism and tomfoolery. Developers who design and build
sites and bespoke apps to be effortless, useful and beautiful,
and who also love to bake. Brandsmiths who geek out at crafting
identities to look, sound – and even smell – wonderfully aligned
to the truth of your business. Illustrators, gymnasts, snow-seekers,
cake-eaters, jam-haters and dog lovers. Our 20-strong team,
based in Winchester, brings clear thinking and many decades
of experience to clients such as Estée Lauder, Winchester College,
Samsung and CBRE.
