BIMA Education Council Roundtable

Online Only Event: We will send you a meeting link once you sign up .

What?

Planning is a huge part of delivering education – but how do you plan for a pandemic and what comes after? If the current situation has left you fighting for answers, options and ways forward, we’re here to help. BIMA’s Education Council Roundtables are small, interactive safe spaces where you can share issues and challenges and explore solutions.

First up, the current state of play and future scenario planning. Where are you now? How are you planning for an uncertain future? What scenarios should you be preparing for?

In this session, we’ll discuss the experiences of the group and the actions you’ve taken. With any luck, you’ll leave with new ideas and real solutions to the issues you face.

Why?

For all of us in education, the coronavirus outbreak has presented challenges we’ve simply never had to face before. The likelihood is we’re far from the end of this uncharted territory.

That’s why, on the final Friday of each month, the BIMA Education Council will be hosting a series of roundtables.. It’s a safe, friendly space for the community to come together and discuss the problems and issues we face. Share the solutions you and your team are implementing to overcome barriers. And leave with new ideas to try.

Who?

This roundtable will be hosted by Lawrence Zeegen, BIMA Education Council Chair and Pro Vice-Chancellor and Professor at Ravensbourne University London.

Limited to 12 attendees to allow for discussion. Chatham House Rules apply and places are strictly limited to one per organisation. We hope you can make it.

Your data is important to us and we’re committed to protecting it. We have updated our policy to make it easy for you to understand your choices and the control you have over your data. Please review here.

The BIMA Conference is coming – and it’s free for BIMA members

On 18-19 November, BIMA Conference 2020 will ask how we take the lessons of Covid, climate change, Black Lives Matter and more – and use digital to do better. Join us online for inspirational keynotes, provocative thinking and lots of opportunities to network.
