Facing Adversity: How to cultivate individual & organisational resilience

Resilience is that ineffable quality that allows some people to be knocked down by life and come back stronger than ever. Rather than letting failure overcome them and drain their resolve, they find a way to rise from the ashes.

– Psychology Today

The reality that we live in will test us: not always, but at some point. How is it that some people are able to survive and, in some cases, thrive during these difficult times while others don’t?

In this talk, Joe will explore resilience from both a human and a corporate perspective, so that we can better understand how to thrive as designers and as people.

In this webinar, Joe will cover:

  • Exploration of resilience
  • What forms resilience
  • How does resilience apply to the individual?
  • How does resilience apply to the company?
  • What resilience means for you in design
