BIMA Scotland | Juniors Peer Networking

Posted by BIMA

Join BIMA Scotland for the first of a series of social events to nurture connections among Juniors in Scotland’s digitial industry.

BIMA’s Juniors Peer Network

BIMA’s Juniors Peer Network is an initiative set up by four juniors starting out in their careers in digital. The aim is to build a network for others in this situation and create a space for them to share their experiences, challenges and advice. The network’s events are led by a range of speakers from across the Scottish digital industry.

With many juniors having spent the beginning of their careers working remotely and with a lack of in-person events, there have been fewer opportunities for those new to working in digital to make connections and learn about the industry. The first BIMA Juniors in-person event will be a great chance to meet and connect with peers face-to-face.

What is the event?

Our host for this event are BIMA Member xDesign, the Edinburgh based digital agency who specialise in digital transformation through web and mobile apps.

The BIMA Juniors team will lead a light touch discussion, allowing guests a chance to connect with likeminded people, talk about your experiences in digital and nurture connections in a friendly, informal atmosphere, and will be joined by a panel of speakers who will lead a discussion on the digital challenges of bringing back in-person events, and the different roles that exist in the industry.

Our speakers are:

– Andrew Bardlsey, Head of Learning at xDesign

– Jenyth MacDonald, Emerging Talent Lead at xDesign

– Daniel Saunders, Marketing and Communications Manager at Assembly Festival

Places are limited so please book your space now – we look forward to seeing you there!

This event is for BIMA Members only. If you’re interested in becoming a member please email anthony@bima.co.uk
