What?

BIMA Community with a focus on people!

Our biggest asset are our people and so much time is spent recruiting, onboarding, managing and supporting our staff to ensure they can be the best they can be.  This community will offer support to help you do this.

Why?

Recruiting talent within the digital and tech industry can be tough.  We will be exploring the way in which different agencies attract and recruit talent and how they overcome some of the challenges.  In addition we will be discussing the Employer brand and the importance of talent management as a retention tool

Is this for you?

This event is primarily for members but is ideal for digital agencies, brands who are employers or any organisation looking to attract and retain talent and have an interest in finding out more about our BIMA community in Liverpool.

As always the format for this session will be a rountable event with a chance to discuss over breakfast courtesy of our Strategic Partner, Bruntwood

Speakers

Our community is run by Victoria Brown of High Consultancy Performance (HPC) and Zoe Wallace, Managing Director, Agent Academy.

Victoria Brown is the founder of oneHR and the Managing Director of High Performance Consultancy (HPC).  Victoria set up her first business at the age of 17 whilst studying to become a HR practitioner.   This was successfully sold 10 years later.  She has over 20 years’ experience in business and HR.  HPC is an award winning national HR outsourcing service provider.  HPC has offices in Liverpool, Manchester and London and continues to grow from strength to strength providing effective HR support to businesses across the UK.  Through her many years of HR experience Victoria has worked with a wide range of clients and sectors;  global brands such as John West Foods, Danone, Adidas ,fast growing agencies to small businesses taking on their first member of staff.  In 2015 she launched oneHR software, which is a smart, sophisticated online HR management system.  She raised investment from Scott Fletcher (Chairman of the ANS group) in 2019 to enable her to take this SaaS product worldwide.  In 2018 she was appointed to the LSG Group board as a Non-Executive Director to provide strategic support and direction.

Zoe is director at Agent Academy, a social business, established to redefine skills development for young people, making sure they are prepared for careers in the creative, digital and tech industry. Over 200 business leaders have contributed to the delivery of Agent Academy programmes.  Zoe champions a people-powered and collaborative approach to overcoming the skills challenges faced by industry.  

Alongside her work at Agent Academy, Zoe is the UK campaign manager for tyred, heading up a team of creative, digital and campaign specialists to raise awareness of the dangers of old tyres, lobby government for change and ultimately, save lives. This year the tyred Campaign won a landmark victory and the Government finally agreed to begin consultation to introduce new legislation banning old tyres from large vehicles.
