This session will explore how agencies can actually start developing proper AI practices, unpack any concerns or obstacles that might be in the way and dive deeper into transforming potential into reality.

We will be looking to join together all the excitement, potential and innovation there is with emerging technology in the market today and focus on how organisations can turn this into outcomes. Too often we get caught up in the idea of transforming our customers by using the latest technologies in the fields of machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data and analytics, but never get around to doing it! We’ll identify what’s stopping people from taking the first step, share some thoughts and ideas on the best ways to get started, and leave every participant clear on how they can turn those ideas into something tangible.

The event is for CTO’s and Tech Directors at BIMA Member digital agencies

If you are not BIMA Member and would like to come along, please email davidbutcher@bima.co.uk.

Speakers

James Marshall, Technology Strategist at Microsoft

James Marshall is a Technology Strategist at Microsoft in the UK, an unashamed geek, and frequent speaker at industry events. James has been on the front line managing IT in the public sector, but since 2010 has been partnering with businesses large and small on digital transformation, particularly with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.

A firm believer that IT should not get in the way of productivity but that it should instead enhance it, James’ goal is to enable people to realise Microsoft’s mission: to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more.
