What: The latest in BIMA’s renowned breakfast roundtable series, hosted by Hootsuite at the Riding House Café on 27 June – exclusively for marketing leaders and corporate communications professionals at brand-side organisations.

Why: A chance to connect with peers, take part in an open discussion and share insights on how organisations which build social media into a key pillar of their digital development – we are calling ‘socially mature’ – are best placed to reap the rewards from employee advocates.

Who for: Marketing leaders and corporate communications professionals at brand-side organisations.

For discussion: Edelman’s Trust Barometer found that content shared by employees, at every level of an organisation, gets eight times more engagement that corporate content, and is re-shared 25 times more frequently. Social can become a brand safe environment for corporate messaging to reach all employees, from the C-suite to customer facing staff.

And your staff, active and engaged on social media, can make the strongest allies in conveying values and building a reputation as an employee-first brand. Employees who live and breathe the organisation they work for fall into this advocacy camp, and are often the ones that will proudly fly the flag for that brand externally. We need to ensure we have the right culture and suitable solutions in place to harness this investment from employees.

Tickets are free for BIMA members and non-members but spaces are limited so please rsvp to davidbutcher@bima.co.uk as soon as possible.
