BIMA Roundtable | The Case For In-Housing curated by Brands Council

Come and join us at our breakfast roundtable to discuss ‘The Case For In-Housing' – Is it a no-brainer to drive optimum efficiencies and growth or a race to the bottom of your own little an echo-chamber?

In-housing has been a buzzword in recent months with large corporate brands from Unilever to TSB making a case for the benefits to be gained. In –housing can take many forms, from bringing specialist design, creative and performance media skills in house, to improving agility and quality of outputs because of the sheer benefit of having creative & media teams in close proximity to your marketing teams. In a new era of zero based budgeting, it has been touted as the next big hope to help CMO’s reduce their costs and reliance on large expensive agencies with outdated remuneration models.

However, in-housing is not such a no brainer that every one is busy knocking down doors… there are many situations where it may not be the right move…In-housing agencies have reputations for high staff turnover and question marks over whether their talent pool really is best in class…Questions also exist about whether in-house teams get the freshness of thinking and external stimulus that large traditional agencies bring to the table. How do they keep their edge?

Come and join us to debate the pro’s and cons over breakfast… if you have not yet got a firm point of view, but are thinking about in-housing as an option, this briefing is not to be missed.

This BIMA roundtable will be hosted by Co-Chairs of BIMA Brands Council Radha Davies, UK Brand Development Director at Virgin, Sinead Bunting, Marketing Consultant at The Telegraph and Co-Founder of Tech Talent Charter, and Russell James, Digital Engagement Director at The FA.

Tickets are free for BIMA members and non-members but spaces are limited so please rsvp to chloe@bima.co.uk as soon as possible.
